Hi everyone,<br><br>This is a last call for manuscripts for consideration for publication in Public Health Genomics. As you all know, following our 5th Annual Meeting in <span style="border-bottom: 1px dashed rgb(0, 102, 204); cursor: pointer;" class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1210331673_0">Cairo</span>, the journal Public Health Genomics (the journal former known as Community Genetics) offered to publish the proceeding from the meeting and we sent a message to everyone asking for submissions. <br><br>The initial deadline was April 30th but this is now being extended to May 16th, 2008, for those who need a little more time. 2008. <br><br>We encourage all participants who either spoke (invited speakers as well as those who were selected on the basis of their abstracts) or presented posters to submit manuscripts for consideration for publication. Those who received awards are especially encouraged to submit something. <br><br>Detailed instructions to help you prepare your manuscript are attached to this email but in brief:<br>• The manuscript should not be more that 3000 words, with a maximum of 5 figures and/or tables (combined total) and a maximum of 50 references.<br>• Each paper needs an abstract of up to 200 words. It should contain the following information: Background/Aims/Objective(s), Methods, Results, Conclusion(s).<br>• These headings should be used to structure the main text<br>• Papers should be written in English<br><br>You may include other authors who have contributed to the work you presented even
if they did not attend the meeting. Students should get their manuscript reviewed by their supervisor before submission.<br><br>All papers will be peer reviewed and must reach the scientific standard required by the journal.
